Portals And Collections - Impovements

Feature Request

Portals and Collections are a great idea, but currently it falls short because:

  • Collections aren’t editable yet.

  • Portals:

    • There’s no way back to the portal when opening an app.

    • Can’t modify app description/logo for apps in a portal.

    • Favicon is missing.

I think those are the essential features needed, but here are additional improvements:

  • Modify App layout (Chose what to show first and so on)

  • Let us add custom links to website and socials

  • Password Protect each Portal

What email do you use on our platform? I can check it out. Btw, isn’t this your Portal: https://ai-tools.hikoky.com/

Awesome. It takes up to 24 hours to get your Portal live on a custom domain.

@Hiro Wa we fixed all the issues you pointed out 🙌

    Other improvements:

    • Modify App Layout: it’s something we plan to do

    • Let us add custom links: Where do you want to display them? Can you please elaborate on the website structure?

    • Password Protected Portal: What’s your use case? What do you want to achieve?

@Ivan Thanks for the fixes! Here is more info and details:

      1. There’s still no way back to the portal when opening an app.

      2. Custom links would be located either in a navbar (top/side bar) or in the footer. It should be simple letting us set the link text to show and the url.

      3. This is specially useful if you have many clients (and portals) and you don’t want them to see what other client tools are and just want to limit them to use their own portal.

We implemented 1 and 2 😉 will think about the 3rd idea…for now you can just share the URL and other clients won’t know?

Let us know what you think about the new design update! Here is the example project I built: https://keyseotools.com/
